To enhance system stability and ensure the continued reliability of their services, Interac will be conducting a routine e-Transfer database switchover as part of the Exadata Patching Cycle on Sunday, March 9, 2025. Below are the details of the scheduled maintenance and its expected impact:

Maintenance Details:
Purpose: Database switchover for Exadata Patching Cycle
Start Time: March 9, 2025, at 01:20 AM Eastern Time (ET)
End Time: March 9, 2025, at 06:00 AM Eastern Time (ET)
Expected Outage Duration: Approximately 75 minutes
Service Impact: e-Transfer services

Expected Outage Period:
Between 4:00 AM and 5:15 AM ET, e-Transfer services will be fully unavailable for approximately 75 minutes.

Impact on Transactions:
During the outage window, all e-Transfer transactions, including deposits and withdrawals, will not be processed.
Customers attempting transactions may experience delays, rejections, or transactions remaining in a pending state until the system is fully restored.
